IMPORTANT NOTES:
- You are not required to use the clinics and pharmacies named below. The facilities listed below offer the convenience of billing eligible** medical expenses directly to your insurance so you do not have to pay up front.
- **Participating facilities will only bill direct to your insurance for expenses that are covered by your insurance plan. Most of the time it is easy for the clinic staff to determine if the reason for your clinic visit or prescription medication is covered or not. If clinic staff are unsure if your medical expenses will be covered by your insurance, then you will be asked to pay the clinic up front. If this happens you can make an insurance claim by following the claim procedures.
- International Student
Medical Insurance does not cover routine
dental care. It only covers certain
types of Emergency Dental Services for unforeseen
incidents such as:
- Sudden onset of acute dental pain (for example an abscess or infection) that requires treatment within 48 hours of the onset of pain
