Canadians Travelling Without Provincial Coverage

There are a number of variables to consider when selecting a travel insurance product which include:

  • your age
  • your medical history
  • the length of your trip
  • your destination(s) and itinerary
  • whether you have left Canada already or not
  • the purpose for your travel
  • how many are traveling together
  • and last but not least,
  • the price

    Coverage Options

For travellers who are not Canadian residents covered under a Canadian Provincial or Territorial health plan we recommend one of the following two types of plans:

    • a private health plan designed for Expatriates
    • For the range of Expatriate Health Plans please contact us and see the Expatriate Plans section of this website.

      or

    • a stand-alone international travel health insurance plan
    • A travel health insurance plan offers less comprehensive health benefits than a plan designed for Expatriates, and as such travel plans come at a much lower cost.

Please contact us for more information or get a quotation and/or read more about the plan at our 'International Travellers' page.
