Retiring outside your home country?

The DCIS Expatriate Health Insurance Plan was designed to provide top quality health benefits to both working expatriates and retirees. Plan members who start on the DCIS Expatriate Plan as working expatriates may continue on the plan after retirement and expatriates who lose their employee group health benefits at retirement may also purchase the DCIS Expatriate Health Plan.

Once underwritten at the time of initial enrolment, insured members are not subject to underwriting again (until age 70) for policy renewals. Members thereby will not face premium increases based on their personal claim experience unless they have a lapse in coverage and need to re-apply. Premiums are structured according to age band and premiums increase when a member moves up an age band or if the insurer raises the premium for an entire age band.
